After having another one of my dad’s delicious raw cakes, I finally realized how much I love the taste of carob! Have you ever tried carob? If you haven’t now is your chance.. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
School is slowly coming to an end. Honestly, it couldn’t come fast enough since when I graduate I will be packing my stuff up and moving over to China! But for now, I am caught between day dreaming about hanging with pandas and scrambling to finish my essay for my writing class.
I have been going crazy since doing this raw food challenge! (A good kind of crazy, don’t worry!) Using a food processor makes recipes so much easier. Although I am lucky enough to be able to borrow my parent’s processor, when the time comes to give it back I will definitely be purchasing my own.
My friend and I decided to do a two week raw cleanse/challenge/whatever you want to call it. For the challenge, I decided to borrow my parent’s food processor. I figured, unless I want to eat a lot of salads and smoothies, I need a food processor for this challenge. Plus, this means that I get to come up with some creative recipes! Basically.. I am really excited!
This delicious orange soup was inspired by the veggies that were about to go bad in my fridge. I had a big bag of carrots (that I was lucky enough to come across for a really good price!) and a container full of chopped cabbage that needed to be made into something.. anything!
